After graduation from Juneau-Douglas High School, Dr. Mesdag went to Oregon for both undergraduate and dental school, graduating from OSU in 2000 and graduating from OHSU School of Dentistry in 2004. He then completed a one-year AEGD residency at the University of Oklahoma, which focused on restorative and implant dentistry. Dr. Mesdag practiced general dentistry from 2005-2010, after which he entered the endodontic program at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA, graduating in 2012.
He is a graduate of the Kois Center and has been awarded Fellowships in the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
